I had a 2013 21-inch iMac at work that started slowing down in 2019 due to a faulty hard drive. I replaced it (on my own dime) with an SSD drive and it’s now faster than it was originally.

When the company went remote in 2020, I relocated it to my father’s apartment to work while caretaking him.

When my company was acquired in 2021, the purchasing biz demanded the return of my company-purchased 2015 MacBook Pro.

They never requested return of the iMac. It’s now in my home office 😀
